About Me and What's New!

Drawing and painting has always been my passion. I live on a small farm in Emmaus, Pennsylvania surrounded by the things I love; my family, my goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. Summers are spent at our cottage in Seaside Park, New Jersey where my family has vacationed for generations. Formal art training began in seventh grade under Muriel Griffith of Bethlehem, Pa. and continues today with Rose Mavis and Douglas Wiltraut. I graduated from Kutztown University in 1973. Watercolor became my love after studying the technique under Ray DiJohn of Chadds Ford, Pa. My career slowly evolved into the graphic design field. I still provide free-lance design services to several clients, including Lehigh University, Moravian College, and Day-Timers, Inc. Seeing design in all things, I believe has helped my painting. My work has been displayed in numerous shows and private collections. In addition to my art work, I enjoy colonial rug-hooking and cheese-making from the milk my dairy goats produce.
